The Sony Ericsson G705 is an aGPS enabled slider form mobile phone that is currently available in major markets across Europe and Asia, and is scheduled for a Q1 2009 release in the US. The G in the model name stands for 'Generation Web'.
The phone features a 3.2 megapixel camera, QVGA@15fps Video Recording and geo-tagging of photographs, using the incorporated GPS. It is the second non-smartphone in Sony Ericsson's line-up after the flagship C905 to feature Wi-Fi and GPS. A similar phone was recently unveiled as the W705 and is scheduled for release in Q1 2009.
